The formats library
A spreadsheet lets you type anything. That’s the problem.
Curiodex formats are museum-grade data schemas, built on JSON Schema, the same open standard used to describe data across the web. A coin has a mint mark, a grade, a metal. A record has a label, a pressing, an RPM. The fields are defined, the values are validated, and nothing lands in your catalog half-described.
That structure is what makes the rest work: search that actually finds things, exports that other systems can read, and records that still make sense to an insurer, an appraiser, or whoever inherits the collection.
